The Journey to make a change
I have Boxed/Kick-boxed for over 30 years from a fighter to a trainer I have played golf for only a few years ok I played some when I was younger maybe 10 times in my twenties none in my thirties about 5 years a friend of mine got me a set of jack Nicholas irons and I bought a Big berth driver and a ping putter on eBay I played 5 times that year the next I played 8 the next I played 10 last year I played 10 times to.
This year on Memorial day weekend I got invited to play at Sebonack a very exclusive golf club.
With a friend and 2 acquaintances of his one was member there. Before we started to play the member ask me what my handicap is where my friend yells out being born in Huntington NY.
The member say to me your on my team going to give you a 20 index.
I start the game off with a great first drive but that was it for a while just couldn’t get going.
So instead of the member who could see me struggling and didn’t offer any help.
H e only got proceeded to get madder at me and started to send little insult my way every chance he got.
He wasn’t much better and blamed my poor play as a reason way he played so poorly and I even won 2 holes that day.
He was so mad at the end of the game that he wouldn’t look at me when we shook hands.
I knew on the ride home that day that I wanted to play more golf get better and kick that guy ass.
So I started taken lessons with PGA Golf Teacher Tom Sutter and I have played since that weekend so far 20 times USGF Handicap is 21.0 getting better every weekend
Next post will be about the Similarities in both sports

What’s New
Over the last few years I watch a growing number of gyms open up like mine.
In my area alone there are 6 new gyms and 3 are within a block.
After careful consideration and planing I’m going to bring X-FIT in a new direction.
No I not closing or moving But the thought-process and style are going to change.
I’m adding a golf simulator soon along with a pro golf Instructor to help client’s with there game.
New workouts based around making you a better golfer
For those who love X-FIT for just the way it is you can feel safe to know nothing will change just going to move some equipment around.

The woman in this photo is Vera Cohan. She is 69 years old and had a stroke yesterday. I don’t know what condition she in and waiting to hear back. I’m not much of a person who prays so I could use a little help — if you can find time to add my friend in your prayers I would really appreciate it. Thanks Jimmy
